Digital Concrete - contemporary poetry generated by user input and a library of obscure references. All automated.
Digital Concrete is a hybrid publication. Using Python, to generate content based on user input with the existing library, or combining them together. Afterwards, exported to HTML and given an automatic layout using paged.js. Made before ChatGPT, this was a passion project to see “who” writes poetry in a post-digital age.
Poems can be funny, heartbreaking or outright ridiculous. When read they don’t make sense, but when spoken, there is a certain rythm to them.
